How to mint?

Minting a Lucky Charm Egghead is completed through the Ethereum Mainnet using a compatible digital wallet such as MetaMask. Each successful minting transaction receives the next available character in the predetermined sequence. A particular character, token number, appearance, attribute, or position within the sequence cannot be selected or reserved.

Step 1: Set Up MetaMask

MetaMask is available as a browser extension and as a mobile app. Download MetaMask only from the official MetaMask website or the official app store for your device. Follow the instructions in MetaMask to create a new wallet or import an existing wallet. During setup, MetaMask provides a Secret Recovery Phrase. Store it securely and offline. Your Secret Recovery Phrase, private key, and wallet password must never be shared with anyone. Ugauga GmbH will never ask you for this information. Make sure that your wallet is connected to the Ethereum Mainnet before minting.

Step 2: Add ETH to Your Wallet

You need ETH in your wallet to pay:

• the minting price of 0.0099 ETH
• the applicable Ethereum network fee

ETH may be purchased through a supported provider within MetaMask or through an external cryptocurrency exchange.

When transferring ETH from an exchange or another wallet, carefully verify:

• your MetaMask wallet address
• the selected Ethereum network
• the amount being transferred
• any withdrawal and network fees

Use the Ethereum Mainnet. Sending funds through an unsupported or incorrect network may result in the funds being inaccessible. Keep a sufficient additional amount of ETH in your wallet for the network fee.

Step 3: Check the Current Gas Price

Ethereum network fees vary depending on current network activity. You can use the Gas Price Check page before minting to view the current gas price. The final estimated network fee is displayed in MetaMask before you confirm the transaction. Gas prices can change within seconds. The amount shown on the Gas Price Check page may therefore differ from the final amount displayed by MetaMask.

Step 4: Open the Official Minting Page

Go to the Minting page on Lucky-Charm-Eggheads.com. Check that you are visiting the correct website before connecting your wallet. Use only official links published by Lucky Charm Eggheads or Eggheads.World. Be cautious of messages, advertisements, social media accounts, and websites that imitate the project.

Step 5: Connect Your Wallet

Select Connect Wallet on the Minting page and choose MetaMask. MetaMask will ask you to approve the connection. Connecting a wallet allows the website to view your public wallet address and propose transactions. Assets can only be transferred when you separately approve and sign the relevant transaction in your wallet. Review the website address and connection request before approving it.

Step 6: Start Minting

After your wallet is connected, select the Mint button. The minting process assigns the next available character in the predetermined sequence. The character cannot be selected, previewed, reserved, or exchanged before minting. The next character remains available to other users until a minting transaction has been successfully confirmed on the Ethereum Mainnet.

Step 7: Review the Transaction

MetaMask will display a transaction request. Before confirming, review:

• the connected account
• the Ethereum Mainnet
• the receiving smart contract
• the minting amount
• the estimated network fee
• the estimated total amount

Confirm the transaction only when the information is correct. The Ethereum network fee is paid to the network and is separate from the minting price.

Step 8: Wait for Blockchain Confirmation

After confirmation in MetaMask, the transaction is submitted to the Ethereum Mainnet. The transaction may initially appear as pending. Confirmation time depends on current network activity and the selected network fee. Do not submit the minting transaction repeatedly while the first transaction is still pending. A pending, rejected, or failed transaction does not complete the mint. Another successful transaction may receive the next character first. MetaMask displays the status of pending or failed transactions in the wallet.

Step 9: Receive Your Lucky Charm Egghead

Once the transaction has been successfully confirmed, the next available character in the sequence becomes your Lucky Charm Egghead. The NFT is sent to the wallet used for minting and receives its documented place on the Ethereum Mainnet. The transaction record can be verified through MetaMask or a compatible Ethereum block explorer. The NFT may not appear visually in every wallet immediately. A delay in displaying the image does not necessarily mean that the minting transaction failed.

Step 10: Enter Eggheads.World

By minting, you become the Eggheads.World Supporter connected to the newly minted Lucky Charm Egghead. Your minting contribution supports the artistic development, production, documentation, and continued growth of the project. The minted Lucky Charm Egghead can inspire stories, Fine-Art Editions, exhibitions, collaborations, and future artistic forms within Eggheads.World. As a gesture of appreciation, the connected Eggheads.World Supporter may receive 5% in ETH from qualifying artwork sales created specifically from that Lucky Charm Egghead, subject to the applicable Terms and Conditions.

Important Security Information

Ugauga GmbH will never ask you for:

• your Secret Recovery Phrase
• your seed phrase
• your private key
• your MetaMask password
• remote access to your device

Never enter this information on the Lucky Charm Eggheads website, in an email, in a direct message, or in a support chat. Always verify the website address, wallet connection, smart contract, network, and transaction details before confirming a blockchain transaction.
